Gallup launches Migration Research Center
How many people want to leave their country? Where do they want to go? How do people feel about migrants living in their communities? How do migrants feel about their own lives?
With the number of migrants expected to top 400 million over the next few decades, these questions need answers. That’s why Gallup has been asking them.
Gallup’s Migration Research Center houses the latest and best discoveries on migration, based on more than a decade of Gallup research and millions of interviews in more than 140 countries.
The main focus of the 2018 World Happiness Report, in addition to its usual ranking of the levels and changes in happiness around the world, is on migration within and between countries. The overall rankings of country happiness are based on the pooled results from Gallup World Poll surveys from 2015-2017, and show both change and stability.
